CHARIS is a non-audition chorus. We invite you to visit any Tuesday when we are in rehearsal and see what we are about. You may want to call 314-664-9340 to confirm we are in rehearsal before you come or with any questions you may have about the chorus.

Expectations of Chorus Members:

• Regular attendance at weekly rehearsals — Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
• Commitment of time and energy to learn your music prior to a performance, including listening to learning tapes, sectionals, and individual review
• Payment of dues as established by the board
• Active participation in chorus decision-making and fundraising
• Responsibility for concert attire

Non-Singing Membership

We welcome non-singing members to join us and help with the behind-the-scenes work that keeps us singing. Non-singing members can help in a variety of ways including:

• Board membership
• Ushering a concert
• Planning or working a fundraiser
• Cataloging music
• Building sets
• Assisting with publicity

There’s something for everyone, so be a part of the fun and help us to grow.
