CHARIS ON THE COUCH - PRESS RELEASE

CHARIS - The St. Louis Women's Chorus wraps up its 15th season with Charis on the Couch featuring nationally-known Lisa Koch (www.heylisa.com). This hilarious look at the ups and downs of therapy will take place on April 25th and 26th at 7:30 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum.

Premium seating tickets are $25 each, general admission tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Tickets are available at MoKaBe's at Grand and Arsenal and at Left Bank Books in the Central West End as well as from any chorus member. Call (314) 664-9340 for information.

CHARIS GOES TO GALA IN 2008

In July, 2008, CHARIS, the St. Louis Women’s Chorus will proudly join over 120 member choruses at the GALA Festival in Miami. Performing in the new Carnival Center for Performing Arts, the women of CHARIS will help delegates from all over the world celebrate the 25th anniversary of GALA Choruses.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

CHARIS relies, as do all non-profits, on help from many volunteers. During concerts, we need ushers, stagehands, people to run the box office and the Friends of CHARIS table.

Between concerts volunteers can help with publicity, bulk mailings, building sets and many other tasks.

If you want to volunteer, please email our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Charlotte Ellis, and let her know when you are available and what you would like to volunteer for. CHARIS is grateful for the help of all its volunteers.



About the chorusCHARIS is a lesbian chorus open to all women. We differ in age, size, ethnic background and ability, but we share goals to seek musical excellence, voice messages of social justice and create a fun and supportive place for all women.
